Reggae Legends Take the Stage

The Meditations are among Jamaica’s most influential roots reggae vocal groups. Formed in Kingston in 1974, the trio became internationally known for their rich three-part harmonies and spiritually uplifting music.

Fans can expect timeless classics along with selections from their newest album, “Live It to Know It.” The 12-track release features fresh recordings of beloved songs including “Oh Jah,” “Great Tribulations,” and “Book of History.” Produced by founding member Ansel Cridland, the album blends classic roots reggae with lovers rock while preserving the unmistakable sound that has inspired reggae fans for more than five decades.

“Whether you’re a longtime reggae fan or simply looking for a relaxing summer afternoon filled with great music, food, and community — this annual celebration offers one of Pittsburgh’s most vibrant cultural events of the season.”
