PITTSBURGH — Looking for a part-time job that pays at least $20 an hour? One of Pittsburgh’s newest entertainment venues is preparing to open its doors—and it’s hiring hundreds of employees.

Live Nation will host a three-day hiring fair August 14–16 to fill approximately 350 part-time positions for Citizens Live at The Wylie, the new state-of-the-art concert venue opening this fall in Pittsburgh’s Lower Hill District.

Located adjacent to PPG Paints Arena on the former Civic Arena site, the venue is expected to become one of the region’s premier destinations for concerts, comedy shows, and live entertainment.

Priority Hiring for Hill District Residents

The hiring fair kicks off with a special event dedicated exclusively to Hill District residents, reflecting commitments made during the redevelopment of the former Civic Arena site.

Scheduled to open in October 2026, Citizens Live at The Wylie represents a $64 million investment in the Lower Hill District. The nearly 100,000-square-foot venue will accommodate approximately 4,300 guests for standing concerts or 2,700 guests in a seated configuration.
