Prime Stage Director of Education Linda Haston to perform autobiographical

one-woman play Off-Broadway February 6-15 in New York City

Pittsburgh native and actress Linda Haston, who also serves as Prime Stage Theatre’s longtime director of education, will perform her one-woman play, Mother Lode, during a limited Off-Broadway run February 6 through 15, 2018.

The play will be performed at Urban Stages Theater, 259 West 30th Street in Manhattan.

Mother Lode, inspired by Haston’s relationship with her mother, Ruth, during her final years, was written by Virginia Wall Gruenert, artistic director of Off the Wall Productions in Pittsburgh, who co-directs with Spencer Whale.

The play deals with the end-of-life decisions that must be made by dutiful daughters, as well as the discord, conciliation, warfare, and ultimate acceptance (whether they like it or not) between strong, independent women bound by love and family.
