PITTSBURGH PARKS CONSERVANCY, CITIZENS BANK TO DEBUT

‘LAST CALL’ AT MELLON SQUARE

The 21+ End-of-Summer Happy Hour Events are Scheduled for Sept. 12 and Sept. 26

The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy (pittsburghparks.org) and Citizens Bank are ending the summer season with Summer at the Square: ‘Last Call,’ two new and exciting happy hour events, at Mellon Square on Thursday, Sept. 12 and Thursday, Sept. 26 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

During the Sept. 12 happy hour, guests will enjoy live music, larger-than-life interactive games, and much more. Plus, attendees 21+ can purchase adult beverages from Mindful Brewing and good eats from Totopo Food Truck, Burgh Bites Food Truck, and Graeter’s Ice Cream Truck. Both events are free to attend.

The ‘Last Call’ happy hours are designed for downtown residents, tourists, and Pittsburgh’s workforce to mix and mingle while enjoying the charming sights and sounds of Mellon Square, the city’s very own Emerald Oasis. ‘Last Call’, is part of the Summer at the Square event series presented by Citizens Bank.

The Parks Conservancy and Citizens Bank developed and introduced Summer at the Square earlier this year. The special programming was specifically developed to create fun activities for the public and contribute to the continued revitalization of Mellon Square.

Mellon Square, located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s downtown corridor, covers 1.37 acres and is the first modern garden plaza to be built atop a parking garage. Mellon Square’s design makes it a forerunner of today’s rooftop gardens.
