City of Pittsburgh Black History Month exhibit
BLACK HISTORY MONTH EVENT: "A Salute to First Responders" exhibit displayed in City-County Building throughout Black History Month
This free exhibit will showcase the accomplishments of outstanding African-American police, fire and EMS through a display of photographs and other memorabilia to honor those who serve the public.
WHERE: City-County Building's grand lobby, 414 Grant Street, Downtown Pittsburgh
WHEN: February 1 – 28, 2017, weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The City of Pittsburgh's 2017 celebration of Black History Month is presented by Citiparks in affiliation with Heinz History Center, Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and Dollar Bank.

EVENING RECEPTION CELEBRATES EXHIBIT
The public is invited to attend a reception in celebration of "A Salute to First Responders" on Thursday, February 9, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. The ceremony in the City-County Building's grand lobby will include refreshments, a musical performance by Bobby Short and remarks by Mayor William Peduto, Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald and other individuals involved with the City of Pittsburgh’s Black History Month celebration.
