PUM: MRC was a very successful venture for you, MRC grew to more than 650 employees and $69.5 million in revenues-what do you attribute your success to?
Stallworth: Lots of the same things that made the Steelers great.  Amassing a team of good people, giving them the tools and training they need, respecting them and getting of their way.
(Stallworth was announced as becoming part-owner of his former team on March 23, 2009, as part of the Rooney family restructuring ownership of the team- The Rooneys will remain in control of the franchise.)
PUM: You are now part-owner of the Steelers, as part of the Rooney family restructuring ownership of the team? How did you decide to pursue this venture?
Stallworth:  I reviewed the offer, prayed about it, and made the decision.
PUM: How does it feel to be a part of a team with such rich heritage, which of course you were a part of?
Stallworth:I am humbled by the Rooney’s offer, excited about the future and honored to be a member of the new owner’s group.
PUM: As a retired wide receiver for the Steelers, what do you think of the current Wide Receivers and the team overall?
Stallworth: They have a great group of receivers.  I have lots of respect for Hines Ward. What about the Coach, Mike Tomlin? Tomlin was a great choice!
PUM: What message do you have for future athletes and entrepreneurs?
Stallworth: Prepare, prepare, prepare!  For life after football (or athletics in general) and for whatever business venture you choose to engage in.
PUM:  Do you miss any aspect of playing football?
Stallworth:Yes, the camaraderie.
PUM: How does the season look this year for the Steelers?
Stallworth:The team is strong, with few loses to free agency.
PUM: Do you think they have SUPERBOWL possibilities again this year?
Stallworth: Barring major injuries – yes - they have great potential.
PUM:  What has been your motto in life? Why have you been so successful?
Stallworth:  Work hard, treat people with respect, stay humble and good things will happen.
